Kittery Point Yacht Yard acquired Pattens Yacht Yard in 2007. This transaction combined the two oldest, southernmost and well-respected yards in the area. Together we have combined a proud tradition of boatbuilding, vessel refits, repowers, system installs, rigging, and repairs from glass work to carpentry and fine varnish to painting performed year-round by Maine craftsman.
Our full-time crew boasts more than 250 years of collective knowledge and experience. We are a Sabre Authorized Kittery Point Yacht Yard (KPYY) acquired Patten's Yacht Yard in 2007. This transaction combined the two oldest, southernmost and well-respected yards in the area. Together we have combined a proud tradition of boatbuilding, vessel refits, repowers, system installs, rigging, and repairs from glass work to carpentry and fine varnish to painting performed year-round by Maine craftsman.
Our full-time crew boasts more than 250 years of collective knowledge and experience. Our diesel technicians are trained in all large and mid-range diesel propulsion systems. We are a dealer for Caterpillar, Yanmar, Westerbeke, and Steyr. Our customers range from full-service storage and mooring customers to transient guests to our local commercial fishing fleet.
We have storage capacity for up to 200 boats with a haulout capacity of up to 70 tons. Our combined storage facilities include 9 acres with 32,000 feet of both inside heated and cold storage space. Our Kittery mooring field consists of 43 deep-water moorings and 8 slips in the most protected basin in the area.
