Synopsis: INVERTED TROUGH NEAR PENOBSCOT BAY WEAKENS THIS EVENING AND STRONG NW FLOW BRINGS IN VERY COLD AIR OVER THE WATERS...PRODUCING GALES AND HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY INTO SUNDAY. HIGH PRES BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRES WILL SHIFT OFFSHORE ON MON AS LOW PRES MOVES UP THE EAST COAST WON TUE. LOW PRES WILL LIFT NORTH INTO CANADA TUE NIGHT AND A TRAILING COLD FRONT WILL SWING THROUGH THE REGION. A BROAD AREA OF WEAK LOW PRES WILL DEVELOP OFF THE COAST WED AND WILL MOVE NORTHEAST INTO THE MARITIMES WED NIGHT.
