Bay Chamber Concerts and Community Music School is a non-profit arts organization founded in 1961 as a summer chamber festival by the late Andrew Wolf, pianist, and flutist Thomas Wolf. The Wolf brothers established Bay Chamber in an effort to revive the musical tradition associated with the Curtis Institute of Music's summer program, which existed in Rockport, Maine, until 1945.

Today, Bay Chamber Concerts presents the Summer Music Festival, which features concerts on Wednesday and Thursday nights during the months of July and August. In addition, from October through May, Bay Chamber presents music and dance at venues throughout Midcoast Maine as part of its Performing Arts Series.

Bay Chamber Community Music School offers the following: private instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, voice and other instruments; Fall Foliage Adult Chamber Music Weekend; Next Generation Youth Chamber Music Program; Odeon Strings Program; Young Stars of Maine; various community classes; and other school and community education programs and events.

Since its founding, Bay Chamber has encouraged people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to make music. Bay Chamber is committed to sustaining classical music as an art form by passing along this musical heritage to the next generation, while also acknowledging the importance of all musical genres and encouraging everyone to explore the rich variety of musical languages.
