Le Garage, overlooking the harbor, was founded by Charlotte and Crosby Hodgman in the summer of 1974. They opened the restaurant as an ice cream parlor, sandwich and chowder house. In 1977, their daughter bought the business and developed the restaurant into its full service capacity of today. Open year round except for the month of January.
