Eben Blaney Fine Furniture & Cabinetry

Eben Blaney is a designer and builder of fine contemporary furniture and cabinetry with more than 20 years of cabinetmaking and design experience. Located in Edgecomb, Maine, his large, efficient one-man shop allows for both the reproduction of any one of his own distinctively designed furniture pieces, while also allowing highly individualized attention to clients' custom projects.

Working with all species of hardwoods--both solid and veneer--Blaney strives for simplicity in his designs with many of the visual details emerging from the joinery and structural elements. Every piece he creates is an attempt to blend the function of intelligent engineering with distinctive artistic design and impeccable craftsmanship.

Blaney's custom work ranges from a modification of one of his existing designs to something completely new and original. Clients can expect a highly detailed and communicative approach to visualizing and planning custom projects ranging from high-quality functional cabinetry to more imaginative and creative projects of all kinds. This detailed approach is brought to all phases of the building process!--from wood selection, to choosing and applying one or more of a wide range of finishes, to the final installation of built-in furniture and cabinetry.
